Red Hibiscus

Red hibiscus

Our garden had a lot of plants and flowers... until Falco, our 2 and half years old greyhound, landed on our lives.
Fortunately hibiscus grown very high and Falco can't arrive to its bright red flowers.
But, just in case, I have drawn one of them for this blog before he gets hungry.

This drawing is made in a index card in order to participate in the Index-Card-A-Day {ICAD} Challenge by Daisy Yellow. I've used a Pentel Arts Pocket Brush Pen to draw it and Caran D'ache Watercolor to paint it.

  1. Hi Laia...I found you via Daisy Yellow's this sketch! How do you like the Pentel Pocket Brush Pen? I plan to order one soon. Happy card making!

  2. Thanks!
I'm a total newbie on drawing with brush pens. I've only tried this one and the non-pocket Pentel... I like both, but I still need to get comfortable with them. So I think that I'm not the best advisor yet ;-)
Anyway, the Pentel Arts Pocket Brush Pen is fine to carry everywhere and do some sketches on the go.
    See you in the ICADs!
